Dancong Oolong Tea is a kind of affordable and gentlest-tasting oolong. It has a nice toasty-flower flavor with hints of fruit, decently complex but not overpowering. Incredibly long finish, very comfortable taste. A great tea for gongfu style brewing, where an entire afternoon can quietly slip by, cup after cup.
To brew Dancong Oolong Tea, we must take care of the infuse time, better 5 seconds for the first four infusions. Then there will be no bitterness at all but only the mellow and fragrant taste. It has a similar taste as to the sky flavour, but not so strong. Fill the teapot 1/4 to 1/3 full with tea leaves. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 100°c (212°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing.
